This towel is from the human-made windowpane series, where I explored ways to make the handwoven nature of the cloth apparent through its visual pattern. The changing sizes of squares and rectangles across the cloth are the result.
Small-scale stripes of plum, deep purple, brass and curry create visual texture on a cream-colored background. Selvedges are a bright blue accent. The handwoven hangtab is designed to match.
Coordinates nicely with Windowpane in Purple or the any of the towels in the Human Made Windowpane series.
