This towel is from the human-made windowpane series, where I explored ways to make the handwoven nature of the cloth apparent through its visual pattern. The changing sizes of squares and rectangles across the cloth are the result.
Woven in shades of orange, bright and dark, on a cream-colored background with vertical stripes in brass and curry. Selvedges have an accent in bright blue. Handwoven hangtab designed to match.
Coordinates nicely with the any of the towels in the Human Made Windowpaneseries.
Sturdy enough for daily use in the kitchen, or a pop of delight in a bathroom. Handwoven hangtab at one end.
